NESTLE PURINA
Location: Costa Navarino, Peloponnese

This was the third time our team have worked with Nestle Purina and we were delighted that for their 2018 conference, they chose the stunning Costa Navarino Resort in the beautiful Peloponnese peninsula.
With a very tight schedule, the delegates arrived via chartered flights to Kalamata where the Sassy Team was waiting to meet them. On arrival at the resort, we had just 1 hour to arrange an express check-in combined with welcome cocktail in the courtyard before the guests headed straight into their first conference session.
The conference itself required a full AV set up with Gobo projections and simultaneous translation. The client had also requested that each coffee break was unique and in an outdoor location in this beautiful resort. The first night saw a welcome cocktail with live music and the second night a relaxed dinner on site.
Our guests then had the chance to visit the legendary site of Ancient Olympia followed by lunch on the sea before getting ready for the final gala. The chosen theme was “The Great Gatsby” and the main conference room was transformed with a themed entrance, life-sized Di Caprio figure, projections and a casino corner. The guests all dressed the part with our fun props and entertainment included stilt walkers, dancers and the famous Hovig and his band.
HERBALIFE

This was an exciting if challenging event for 1700 guests from a number of different countries lasting over one week! The hotel’s newly renovated conference centre was entirely branded with 3-D letters, press walls, hospitality desks and more. The main lobby of the hotel was also re-decorated in the Herbalife theme.
The event included a daily conference and a full programme of activities and options for the delegates and included 2 large-scale welcome cocktail events at the hotel, a VIP dinner at the Kallithea Venetian thermal baths and a medieval banquet at the Bastion of St George. These dinner events all had a different theme and incorporated a wide range of entertainment with international performers, master classes, demonstrations and musicians. Highlights included the medieval knights on horseback and in combat at the castle and an astonishing fire show in the historic castle courtyard.
The event culminated in a huge gala for which we had rented the Nomarxia area in Mandraki harbour. Our AV team constructed a stage next to the sea and we served up a sumptuous buffet meal for 1700 guests. The most memorable moment for most of us was the aerial acrobat suspended from 100 helium balloons, dancing in the air above the crowd!
NOVARTIS STAR CLUB

Novartis have entrusted our team with their VIP guests in the past, so we were delighted to be asked to arrange their 2018 event in Crete.
With a VIP group such as this, the very highest standards of service are key, and our local suppliers and team didn’t disappoint. Guests were greeted at the airport by Greek gods and transported in deluxe vehicles to the beautiful Elounda Beach Hotel.
Highlights of the event included a private boat trip to the famous Spinalonga island and a deluxe barbecue lunch on the beach. They visited Knossos, of Minotaur fame, for a private tour and enjoyed a unique rural experience in a small village with tastings, crafts and music.
NOVARTIS

We were delighted to once again host Novartis in Cyprus for their annual conference. This year they opted for an “Under the Sea” theme which was incorporated into the conference, signage around the hotel and gala event.
Our local experts had great fun producing themed signage, lighting and projections and even giant aerial jelly fish for the gala dinner.
Each Business Unit also had an individual team-building activity which included a purpose-built “Warrior Challenge” course, a fun “Make your Mark” activity where guests used graffiti skills to decorate a 3-D logo and a painting master-class where the group created their own tote bags.
DAICHI

Our local team designed and created a full AV set up for the conference element of this event. The group also enjoyed a number of motivational and recreational activities including our authentic “Catch & Cook” experience where they set sail on traditional fishing boats.
Our popular Russian-speaking MC also led a motivational team building exercise in the Paphos archaeological park where the delegates took part in our “Bas Relief” challenge.
RURAL WEDDING

We were delighted to be asked to organise an intimate wedding event for a family group in June. The Sassy Events team includes experienced wedding planners so it was great to have the opportunity to put their skills to the test.
Sassy Events organised all aspects of the wedding event from the all-important paperwork, venue finding, flowers, decorations, cake, rehearsal dinner, entertainment and transport. Our wedding specialist was also with the couple for their town hall meeting and throughout the day at the beautiful Vasilias Nikoklis venue. The whole family loved their special day and the evening entertainment included the famous Cyprus dancers who got everyone out on the floor and culminated in an impressive firework display
